Beaver Bob is a great guy, and a real outdoorsman. These people are in the bush big time, and have a radio phone. It is one of the least expensive places, well situated. Warm wood stoves keep it cosy, but not much fancy stuff here. Clean with everything you need, gas, restaurant, and service, but basic rooms. Auberge Mekinac: A family run hotel for family sledders. Very good value, lights out at 11 pm - everyone sleeps! Richard can be alot of fun, and his security has never been breached. Little John is the key to this place - hardly speaks a word of English, but is determined to show you the best time. He will drive you around or guide you to all the fun spots. He likes his beer! Upper Laurentians Region

A big beautiful new high rise hotel next to the Sports Cage Restaurant in Mont Laurier Quebec, 3 hours N of Montreal. Famous comfort here. This outfit is next to a big SkiDoo dealership, and right on top of the snowmobile trails. From here you can visit the amazing Devil's Mountain, and access all the trails in the Northern end of the beautiful Laurentian Mountains. There is also world class Skiing all around - Mont Tremblent and more. The town itself has alot to offer the entire family, and the host and owner is Marco - and he will probably go riding WITH you, and party with you in his huge sports bar. One half hour N of Mount Laurier, renovated cabins, big lodge with good food. On the amazing waters of the Baskatong Reservoir. Beauty unsurpassed, exceptional snowmobile trails. You can access all the snowmobile trails and go for hundreds of miles a day without ever seeing the same trail twice, or bring your ATVs to ride the groomed ATV trails. The true outback wilderness area of Quebec, and amazing trails. A huge lodge and very comfortable log cabins, great food, on beautiful lake Adonis. Wow. Total new renovations, pool table, hot tub spa, bar, but not many local folks dropping by. You are isolated here, and must focus on the natural beauty of Quebec. Not many distractions. A great place to bring a big gang (30 or 40,) , or come alone and experience peaceful days, and silent nights.
