Prairie Women on Snow for Breast Cancer Research

Prairie Women On Snowmobiles' Missions are provincial awareness events
designed to focus attention on breast cancer and the recreation of
snowmobiling as well as raise the much-needed funds for breast cancer
research. PWOS has contributed 100% of the funds raised for research.
To date more than $900,000.00 has been raised in seven Missions.

having no snow.

Orleans County Snowdrifters Pancake Breakfast
Orleans County, New York
The Orleans County Snowdrifters will be holding their annual Pancake
Breakfast again this year on February 3 at the Carlton Fire Department
Rec. Hall on route 98 / Oak Orchard Road in Carlton Station. It runs
from 9:00am until 1:00pm and there is a cost of $5.00 for adults and
$3.00 for children 12 and under. The Rec. Hall is off trail C4G (the
old hojack line trail) in the town of Carlton. By car, take route
104 to route 98, turn north and its down a couple miles on the
right.

Snowmobile Club will be participating in this year`s Polar Fest on
Chemong Lake (Bridgenorth / Ennismore) at BEL Rotary Park. ACSCC Members
(and others) will be putting on a VINTAGE Snowmobile display as part
of the event. An informal Display with Lake Riding. From 11:00 - 4:00.
The POLAR PLUNGE takes place from 2:00 till 3:00 (so you can watch
folks jump into the
lake if you want). Every one is welcome. This is a FREE event. Other

2008 Sled Ride of Hope

Registration is 10 AM. Ride will begin at 11:00 AM SHARP! Participants
will enjoy one of two guided tours through the beautiful trails of
the Muskoka Snowmobile Region. Upon your return you will have the
opportunity for a short break, before announcements and fundraising
activities begin back at the Baxter Ward Community Center. This will
be followed by dinner and a dance! Shuttle services will be provided
to the Community Centre from the three area resorts before the dinner
and dance with a return trip home after. Shuttles will depart on the
