The Refuge Inn on the Lake of Drags!

We arrive in Bernard's truck, and there are five guys working like crazy.

Luc Gregoire is finishing up the half log pine siding with his helpers. Luc
is the guy to hire in this
neighbourhood, for a good fast job. He can be contacted through Julie's real
estate office HERE.

From the lake, we can see it all coming together. Under the
deck we can see two furnished
mini apartments which include bathroom and kitchenette. These are available
to rent all year long.
(very reasonable) There is also a hallway with a washer and dryer available
for the renters.
The apartments will be completed soon.

Bernard from Motel Safari gives Al a few tips on the Auberge
business! After 12 years of owning
his snowmobile motel, he knows a few things about the topic. Security was the
main topic. Al locks
your sleds into the garage at night... (the heated garage!) Bernard has
a big garage too.

This is the quick kitchen that Al has built in the new Chalet.
He has a gal that comes in for the mornings,
and she makes you a good quick breakfast. The light in this room is amazing
with the four slider doors
overlooking the lake.

Fred, Al's jack of all trades, finishes up in the kitchen. He
has installed
ceramic tiles on the floor and on the counter top. The two bathrooms
upstairs also feature rich ceramic tile. All will be finished this weekend.

Here we meet one of Luc's workers. The exterior siding will be finished in a day or two.

Good-bye Al! In the background, we see the hallway that attaches the garage to the new Chalet.

On the right you can see the original cabin that Al built 12
years ago. It is available to rent as well.
Call today to book your rooms in the Refuge, but call today as the rooms are almost all booked!
