I love seeing big family
groups up here!

This family happy to be back up in Quebec!

The girls on a dream sled.

This group of ruffians took the morning off due to
the light rain, but look forward to riding the next day. As
we spoke the rain turned back into snow, and the temp
dropped... Thank God!
(Today Wednesday, it is snowing lightly.)

"We rode 618 mile so far this week, trails were amazing,
I hope this rain doesn't wreck the trails!" (No,
the trails
survived because of a very thisk solid base, but we could
always use more snow. ) zw

I had dinner with these folks from MD. The recently
bought a home in the Sept Chutes area of St-Zenon.
We enjoyed the hospitality of the Saw Mill.

In the afternoon I ran up to the trail which had been cut,
and I see that it is completely restored, so, that little
difficulty has been overcome through the diplomacy
of our fearless leader! Yeah God! Overnight, the groomer
fixed it up really nice as the temps dropped. Now a run
from the Cabanon to the village will take about 12
minutes once again! This is very good.

Here we see two guys from PA (outside) enjoying a
beer with two guys from MASS.. proving once again
that the sport of snowmobiling can do wonders to enhance
regional differences.. Or is it just the beer?? The Hotel
Central in downtown St-Michel is a destination club now,
since the total renovations last year. Good people that care
about snowmobilers!
That was my day! Today I am getting my sled out to check
out the local trails. I can see that it is cold and the snow has
hardened up good, which means the trails, having been groomed
overnight, are most likely like asphalt... very good. We shall see!
Al tells me that there are several snowmobiles dragging on the lake
this morning! I hope you will all come up today to enjoy New Years Eve
in Quebec on your snowmobiles!!
