There is alot more than snowmobiling in our region,
there are many other winter activities to enjoy. This little
guy is sliding down the Knights of Columbus ice sculpture
in St-Come with his brother and his dad.

This is a 350 lb kid from MD.. Joe!

Chantal in St-Come, my barber for the past four years, talks me into
trying a clean cut look, she says I may get lucky if I get rid of the beard...

So off it comes, and just look at that new face... (no luck yet and
it's been three days). But when the cold wind howls, it's damn cold.

At St-Emelie, we see the deer congregate behind the Harnois
gas station to eat fresh carrots dumped out there by a local.

At Real Masse's, this little fella gets the honour of becoming
a member of the Zen Order of the Hat, but I lost his name..

Crazy Al and Tom Bump cook up some evil plans
after devouring a fabulous fillet mignon at Real's.

Tom and Brian finally meet Real.

We try out our new hats. (I still had the beard).

Rocky poses with Kendal and Joe... they bought that
cabin in the background, and are official St-Zenonians!

Kendal and Joe check out the ski hill in St-Come.

We visit Bernard in Shawinigan, then go out to eat
at the 57 club, or whatever it is called. Great food,
we ate in the Chevy.

The whole gang from Ithica New York.

Crazy Al spending countless hours getting the ice ready
for the racing Saturday on Lake St-Louis. "When the
racers see this 450' oval race track, they'll go nuts!"
he says.

Al with another volounteer in the bright sunshine.
That's all the news for now. Trails are excellent all over
our area, and it's snowing today. What more can you ask for?
