Big Renovations in
Motel La Glaciere!

Outside, the Glaciere looks like you remember it, cold and snowy, and tons of sleds and trailers.
But inside, the restaurant is totally renovated, and so is the snack bar downstairs.

The painter is Daniel. The walls are all redone in stucco and look fantastic.
The place has a whole new look and feel.

The kitchen equipment has all been replaced with top notch professional gear.
Andre of AB Equipment installed everything just right.

Pierre the Pinch drives home a few final screws in the new hallway
which features stucco archways and a bright new look.

Danielle, Sandra, and Melanie have been working hard to get things into shape for
the snowmobile season. The new floor looks excellent, and they have
saved all the original stone work.

A big new stainless steel counter top goes right here.
This is Sylvain the kitchen Manager and Chef in his work clothes.

He has been the chef at Domaine Bazinet for twelve years.
Sylvain assured me that the new restaurant in the Glaciere will be open this coming
Monday on time, and that he will be wearing a shiny new white uniform,
complete with the special chef's hat!

Sylvain is very well known for his creativity in the kitchen,
and promises a dynamic new menu designed to please every palate.

Just off the snack bar on the lower floor, there is a big new spa room with showers,
and an excellent mural that looks so real, you feel like you are looking out into the forest... great job.

I walked back up the hill to the south to give you the full view.
The sunshine was beating downinto the cold day,
and all of us feel the excitement building in this region of Quebec.
