Zen calls on Mr. Real Masse

Friday January 31st, I walk up to the main lodge.

Once inside by the fireplace, we can see all the action on the lake, and enjoy a great steak dinner
with friends, after a day of riding some of the best trails in the world.

It was great to see Mr. Masse again, we are both so busy at this time of the year. The guy has a handshake
like a pair of vice grips, and his personal charisma is intense. We should get him to run for public office,
we would win for sure.

No sooner had I arrived, and this group of very 'Vermont' guys bellied up to the bar for a cold one before
dinner. This is Tom on the right from ... Vermont. I keep running into him around town, either that, or he's
stocking me! They are all staying at Motel "M" with our pal Big Bruno in St-Michel-des-Saints. They rent
a condo there for the entire season every year, which proves that Bruno has the patience of Job. The boys
assured me that I would see them again at Mass in St-Zenon on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, the parking lot outside begins to fill up, and the St-Zenon weekenders start to arrive with
their trucks, trailers, and sleds galore.

The first thing I see is this disarray, as one family roll out their gear.

Wow, what a nice sled. I have a weakness for the aesthetics of the
Cat, and so do these Quebecers.

But wait! Here comes the rest of the family, and they are loyal to
the Quebec built Bombardier product.

As is my habit, I only grab the name of the kids when I see a big group. Meet Kevin from near Montreal.
If my memory serves me correctly, this family is from Amicaleville. Look at the eyes! Mom and Kevin look
like two peas in a pod. Does Kevin look happy or what?

This is the road out, and I caught the sun setting behind the mountains of the seven falls. Nice eh?

Happy Weekend Everyone! Trails are great, food is served, and the hospitality is fabulous at Real Masse's
Pourvoirie..That's "Outfitter" for you English people. They have about 20 rooms and 20 cottages, all cozy
