Fun Family Fishing
in St. Zenon Quebec
at Real Masse June 19 2003

Real Masse himself congratulates this young couple on their
fine catch of speckled trout which they caught on Lac
La Loutre, in the Real Masse Outfitter's territory.

Jean Pierre and his wife France of St-Hyacynth Quebec,
bagged a total of nine fish ranging from one and a half to two
and a half pounds. They caught all these in four hours.

This is their fifth consecutive year at Real Masse's fishing
gold mine. "We'll be back again for sure" they said.

Francois and Monique have one fish already, and they are
heading off to another lake in their golf cart. Real bought
another dozen or so of these carts this spring, to be sure that
everyone who comes, can gently get from one spot to another
in comfort. What a concept!

The fishing guides, neatly dressed in uniforms, drive back and
forth in these quads, ensuring that everyone has exactly what
they need to fish successfully in this paradise. In Real Masse
country, everyone goes home with a smile of satisfaction.

Behind the scenes, Mr. Masse works very hard
to keep everyone organized. Running the most
successful fishing outfitter in Quebec is a big job.

I took a photo of all the pretty waitresses, but
wouldn't you know it, the photo did not turn out!
My batteries went dead. Trust me when I say this is
a minor catastrophe! The girls that work in the restaurant
are wonderful, and make couples feel right at home.
They are Sylvie, Lauraine, Lyanne, Karine, and Odette.

Outside of the restaurant, this happy group repose and soak
in the beauty of the lake.

Another happy group arrive at the dock with their booty. They
will take the fish into the cabin behind them, where a special
fish cleaning expert will gut and clean the fish, then pack them
in ice for the journey home. Good eating these trout.

What a chore, lifting all that weight!

I want to thank Real Masse for a great visit and his kind offer of
lunch, and also Bernard from Motel Safari in Shawinigan, who
accompanied me on this fishing adventure. It's men like this who
work hard in Quebec, to make your holidays a success Canada!
