Cold, snowy and
windy in St-Zenon
November 11, 2004

Yesterday
morning I went to the Refuge to visit with
Crazy Al at the Refuge. Al looks
forward to serving
all his clients again this winter. He has made
improvements
over the summer, like this entryway.

Tonight
on my way home from Joliette, I grabbed this photo of the
famous Glaciere
Motel. I assume everything is going well for Marcel
there this fall, and that,
as usual, they have made improvements. I saw
a few workers shoveling snow from
the balconies. The place looks good.

Then
I drove past the St-Louis Motel Bar on the main drag. Looks
like they are
still celebrating Halloween.

This
of course is the Bistro, which will be open on December the
first, according
to the sign in the window. Looks like they added
a patio during the summer.

This
is a photo of the sunset through the trees at the Zen Shack.
More photos of
many other bars, restaurants and motels soon.
Monday I will be driving up to
Mont Vallins to see the trails that
are apparently open or to be open soon.
Every year they groom
early and are the first to have trails. The mountain
landscaping is
awesome.
