This is what is left of last year's ZW sign that was on the trail. We are going to install in on the
upper balcony. Yup, the Sign warz of last year are still going on. It seems destroying your
competitor's signs on the trail has become a real Quebec Tradition. This is why you cannot find
a sign on the trail at times! The signs on the trails change every year! They have to be replaced
twice a year! At least it is good for the sign business.
This is the front of the new Refuge Chalet that faces the Lake of Drags. You can see that the
siding is well under way. The interior is almost finished too. If you need a room for Xmas,
be sure to call soon to book at the Refuge! Cost runs 30. 35. 45. and 55 per room per night
per person. Call 450-884-1818 now! We have a few rooms left for the holidays.
The Refuge is cosy, with huge rooms featuring their own bathroom and even a whirlpool bath
in one room. The sleds get locked in the garage every night,
warm and safe! (See the small
white sled doors on the right?) On the lake in front of the Refuge, over 100
sleds were dragging
last Saturday. The DELUX room facing the lake has a huge balcony as well! All
new beds, towels and
linens, a big dining room for a quick breakfast, and top notch security for your trailer. Photos soon.
In the evening, we all drove to St-Michel for dinner. Here is
Dave right, and Glenn left, enjoying our
charming waitress Maryse, who is trying to tolerate us three! The Sawmill restaurant
is fabulous. zw
