Join a snowmobile club
Join a snowmobile club, and get involved. In many
discussions and conversations I had with snowmobilers from Quebec
City to Novi Michigan this year, the topic of "Who's gonna
take over?" often came up.
There's still alot of grizzled
old guys involved with the snowmobiling clubs, and their wisdom
in all matters is priceless, but what will we do when they're gone?
They have been working as volounteers for years, dealing with government
officials, local land owners, and snowmobile organizations. Their
experience and knowledge is irreplaceable. We need to encourage the
younger riders to attend the committee meetings at the local club house,
and realize that there is more to snowmobiling than having your day
on the trails. It is a complex sport that relies on thousands of volounteers
to keep it rolling. The youth have to step up to the plate.

on to your male friends. They could become a victim. A 'heads up'
warning for all men who may be regular Home Depot customers. Over
the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping.
Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic.
Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends.
**Here's how the scam works:** Two very hot 20-21
year old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping
into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag
and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy
T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer
them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to another
Home Depot. You agree and they get in the backseat. On the way, they
start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat
and starts crawling all over you and playing with your privates, while
the other one steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen June 4th, 9th, 10th, twice
on the 15th, 17th, 20th, & 24th. Also July 1st, 4th, twice on
the 8th, 16th, 23rd, 26th, 30th, three times last Saturday and very
likely again this upcoming weekend. So tell your friends to be careful.

New York -
33rd Annual Snodeo - Snodeo is the “kick-off” weekend for
the 2009/2010 snowmobile season. On Friday morning, watch the exciting
Snowmobile Manufacturer’s Challenge in Woodgate, NY, and then
Snodeo will be open 3pm-7pm. On Saturday, Snodeo will be open from
10am until 5pm. There will be seminars scheduled, and the 120cc races
for our next generation of snowmobilers. Top off the evening with
our spectacular fireworks display. On Sunday, Snodeo will be opened
from 10am until 2pm, with the snowmobile raffle drawing at 1pm.
